Creative Director, The Bus Music
Jamie May graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and immediately started her career as Creative Coordinator at Big Yellow Dog Music working on the Film/Sync team. After two fantastic years at BYD she then moved to her current position as Creative Director at The Bus Music, signing talent in the pop and sync space with a focus on placements in TV/Film. She has placed songs in shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Dynasty, Insecure, Riverdale and ads like Apple, TMobile and Nordstrom. Although she has worked with big name artists, pitching their songs for Film & TV (Meghan Trainor, Maren Morris, Young Thug, Fetty Wap), her passion still lies with the upcoming songwriter/artist– “Working with big names in the music industry is always fun, but there’s nothing like the rush of helping an independent artist get their song out to the world. I’m a huge advocate for the underdog or the ‘misfits’ in Nashville. This town is known for it’s country music but there are so many genres here that so often are overlooked. My goal is to help these artists, producers and writers find their place in this industry.”Sign Up For This Event $30 per song GSC member
