“Global Songwriters Connection, LLC” (GSC) is defined as the organization from which you are purchasing memberships, mentoring sessions, song evaluation sessions, webinars, special events, catalog items, donations and any other item for sale on the Global Songwriters Connection, LLC website. Please contact GSC directly for any questions or concerns about this policy.
These terms and conditions constitute a legal agreement between you and Global Songwriters Connection, LLC (“Globalsongwriters.com”), a Tennessee limited liability company. Please read this agreement (“Agreement”) in its entirety before you become a member of this website. This Agreement governs your use of Global Songwriters Connection’s material and website. By becoming a member of Global Songwriters Connection LLC, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
All content included on this site, including, but not limited to graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, video clips, multimedia files, is the property of Global Songwriters Connection, LLC or its respective parties and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. All educational videos and materials are strictly for your personal use and you are NOT allowed to share with others your password to the site or the educational material.
Term of Agreement
The term of this Agreement (the “Term”) will commence once you click on the “Make Payment” button and pay the applicable fee described which will entitle you to a membership, specific event service or catalog item unless otherwise indicated, commencing upon verification of your credit card information. In consideration for receiving the benefits and services of GLOBAL SONGWRITERS CONNECTION, you will pay to us the amount set forth on the shopping cart checkout. By providing your credit card billing information, you are authorizing us to charge the fee to your designated credit card. Regardless of the method of payment, we will not be required to address any billing problems or discrepancies unless you advise us of such billing problems or discrepancies within ninety (90) days after they appear on any such statement or bill. Your credit card issuer agreement governs the use of your designated credit card in connection with us, and you must refer to that agreement and not this Agreement to determine your rights and liabilities as a cardholder.
Information Collection and Use
Global Songwriters Connection, LLC is the sole owner of the information collected on this web site with the exception of any information that is owned or copyrighted by a third party involved in GSC, including our members. GSC collects personally identifiable information including name, address, email address, phone number, and event information when you register for a membership or purchase products or services. GSC also collects information from your browser including browser type, browser version, browser settings, operating system, pages visited, your IP Address, and Cookies. GSC uses the above collected information for general purposes such as allowing you to add products and services to your shopping cart, tailoring the content within the Site to match your interests, and ensuring that the site continues to operate properly with commonly used operating systems and browsers.
GSC also uses this information to send you information, offers and other promotional materials from GSC and selected third parties. You may opt out of receiving information directly.
The GSC site has security measures in place to protect the information under our control. We use secure socket layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of commerce transactions. We encrypt your personal and financial information as it travels over the Internet. We do not store any credit card information for the protection of our consumers.
Your financial information is used for the sole purpose processing or refunding the transactions which take place on the GSC system. By making a purchase, or engaging in any other kind of activity that uses financial information, you consent to our providing your financial information to third parties including the credit card companies and banking institutions used to process the transaction. We may share your financial information with applicable Contracted Clients (organizations that contract directly with GSC for our products and services), primarily for facilitating, dispute resolution, refunds, and customer service at the event on the date of the event.
Children under the age of 13 are prohibited from submitting personal information to GSC. Federal Law prohibits web sites from collecting and/or distributing personal information from children without parental consent. At this time, GSC has no effective means to obtain and track parental consent. Therefore, GSC must prohibit the submission of personal information from children under the age of 13.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
The act of purchasing an item or completing a registration form automatically grants GSC the right to share your personal information with our Contracted Clients (organizations that contract directly with GSC for services) in association with the membership, webinar registration or other event you are purchasing. The opportunity to opt-out, or not to consent to our sharing of your personal information with them is not available at this time. Contracted Clients may use your personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies, and may consequently use your personal information to contact you and may share your personal information with others for the purpose of providing the service you are requesting by using this Site. You will need to contact those Contracted Clients to instruct them directly regarding your preferences for the use of your personal information by them. You may contact GSC directly to request the Contracted Client’s contact information.
GSC does not share, sell or rent any of your information with parties other than Contracted Clients at this time. If GSC changes this policy in the future, changes will be posted in the area of the web site on the date they become effective and any information used or collected after that date will be subject to the policy in effect at that time. We recommend that you review this policy each time you make a purchase to ensure your knowledge of the current policy.
Global Songwriters Connection, LLC respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us directly.

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. A user can unsubscribe from the email by sending us an email or by using the opt-out link at the bottom of the newsletter.
Occasionally, our website requests information from users via contests. Your participation in these contests is completely voluntary and GSC has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name, address, e-mail address), and demographic information. Contact information will be used to notify the winners. Users may use our opt-out link.
Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your computer. Cookies cannot damage your computer. Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to identify you. Unless you’ve chosen to submit personal information to GSC though registration or the purchase of products and/or services, GSC cannot identify you. Cookies are used by GSC to allow the smooth operation of the Site and to track your activity so that we may tailor the content of the site.
If an event is cancelled, buyers should contact GSC to receive information about how your purchase will be refunded. All service fees, convenience fees, credit card fees, and fulfillment fees are NOT REFUNDABLE in the event of a cancellation. Other than the event being cancelled by GSC, ALL FULL SALES REFUNDS require a 5 business day written notice. With the exception of webinars and single events, you are allowed ONLY one (1) reschedule. All reschedules beyond one (1) reschedule are considered to be a new purchase of the event at full event price.
The laws of the State of Tennessee shall govern this Agreement. If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of the Agreement, or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision of the Agreement shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to affect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the service or Terms and Conditions must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action first arose or be forever barred.
