Global Songwriters Connection was proud to be a sponsor of the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival 2013 Song Contest! GSC also sponsored and provided songwriter workshops and Q&A panels as well as personalized mentoring for this event. Songs from all over the WORLD were submitted to this contest! Debbie Pascarella’s song “I Listen to My Bad Girl” took first place! Debbie won a ton of prizes and will recieve a lot of visibility as the winner of this contest. Congratulations to you Debbie. GSC also hooked up Alabama member Chad Parker to PLAY at this festival! Chad called me at GSC and said it was a goal of his to play at this festival. I was happy to make the connection and thrilled to see that Chad was scheduled to play SEVERAL times throughout the festival and connecting with Pro Writers! We can’t always make this happen but Reneda Cross, the Event Coordinator helped me give new comer Chad Parker a chance to be seen and heard.
GSC members Genesis Green and Courtney Yovitch got a TV Spot ALL ON THEIR OWN for their save the earth TEAM GREEN PROJECT ! I thank them for allowing me to be their “handler” for the day! Genesis and Courtney are part of an amazing trio called Asteria Lux along with CJ Watson. Asteria Lux was the hit group of the Pensacola Songwriters Festival. Check them out on facebook!
