How to properly submit a song if you purchased a pitch slot.

For those of you that purchased a song pitch slot, all song(s) and lyric(s) must be submitted no later than 48 hours before the event day.  Please email your song(s) in MP3 format and lyric(s) in Microsoft Word Doc or PDF format to pop@globalsongwriters.com.

We also highly recommend including a 1 page bio with a photo in Microsoft Word Doc or PDF format. (Please put the photo image and bio on the same document. One page is best). Your headshot and bio will be presented to the publisher to increase your visibility and enhance your connection to the publisher.

Please only submit the song you entered during the order process. If your song is not submitted on time, you will not be included in the event and there will not be a refund.

THE PROPER WAY TO LABEL YOUR MATERIALS

Example: Dallas Gregory – Feb 26, 2026 – John Smith

Lyric File Labeling:    Title – Your Last Name, Co-writers’ Last Names (in alphabetical order).

Example: My Heart’s Song – Smith, Schaefer,Worthington.docx

MP3 File Labeling: Title – Your Last Name, Co-writers’ Last Names (in order).

Example: My Heart’s Song – Smith,  Schaefer, Worthington,.mp3
(Exact same format as lyric. Do not add “mp3”, “demo”, or “master” to the filename.)

Example: John Smith – Bio.docx
(nothing more than this information)

NOTE: Listen only participants will not submit songs.
